DORTS Commissioner Chou to Resign

Commissioner Chou Lie-Liung, due to personal career plans, handed in his resignation on April 1, 2016, which will take effect, April 7, 2016.

According to Commissioner Chou, he expressed his intention to serve for only a one-year tenure when he was recruited by Taipei Mayor Ko to take the position as DORTS Commissioner. In view of the fact that the construction of Taipei Performing Arts Center is progressing steadily, and the main structure will be completed at the end of December this year, he has completely fulfilled his commitment to Mayor Ko. Having accomplished the important missions, Commissioner Chou was able to resign without hesitation.

Commissioner Chou expressed his thanks to Mayor Ko for having confidence in his ability during his term in the Taipei City government. He also stated that he appreciated the DORTS team for supporting a returning colleague like him in all of endeavors. He will be proud of being a DORTS staff member for life.
