The main purpose of constructing the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Systems is to provide safe, convenient, high quality, and reliable public transportation. DORTS shoulders this heavy responsibility. Therefore, all DORTS staff shall maintain a high level of professionalism, ensure top quality construction, keep tight control of progress and be deeply concerned about safety, health, and environmental protection, so as to deliver world-class MRT construction.

In order to reach the objectives of our quality policy, all divisions should not only master advanced technologies and knowledge, but also, prior to initiating a project, draw up related countermeasures via risk identification, analysis, and assessment with a view to reducing risks and potential negative impacts. In the process of implementing construction, all related laws and regulations should be obeyed while technical specifications, criteria and operation procedures should meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 quality management system, so as to achieve goals on schedule.

To fulfill DORTS’ mission of building a safe, convenient, high quality, and sustainable MRT system, all DORTS staff are requested to continually pursue excellence and innovation, develop initiative and farsightedness while executing excellent design and construction based on customer focus, so as to win the public’s confidence with a new world-class MRT system.
