2019 Major Administrative Plans of Taipei City Department of Rapid Transit Systems

1.Mission
   Construct a world-class rapid transit systems.

 2.Vision
    Construct a high-quality and efficient rapid transit systems that facilitates easy travel in Taipei.
 
3.Major Administrative Plans
   (1)Continue conducting projects involving civil works, tracks, utilities and HVAC systems, and 
       executing design reviews of E&M systems and common ducts for the Wanda line Phase I and
       the Xinyi eastern extension.
   (2)Continue conducting projects involving civil works, tracks, utilities and HVAC systems, and
       executing integration and stability tests of E&M systems, as well as the preliminary and final 
       inspections of the Circular line Phase I.
   (3)Continue conducting projects involving civil works, tracks, utilities and HVAC systems, and
       executing tests of as-built equipment, installation and testing of the newly purchased
       equipment of E&M systems at Xinzhuang Depot on the Xinzhuang line; implementing the
       detailed design services of the mid-term improvment project for the elevators and escalators
       in the entrances/exits of the initially-built network stations.
   (4)Continue conducting the revision of urban planning for MRT facilities, the selection of
       technical services contractors and detailed design for the Circular line North Section & South
       Section and the Wanda line Phase II.
   (5)Continue conducting the environmental impact statement for the Minsheng-Xizhi line as well
       as follow-ups of the EPA reviews and comprehensive planning; implementing feasibility
       studies for the Eastern Taipei North-South MRT System (the Circular line East Section) as well
       as follow-ups of central government reviews and comprehensive planning, and studies for
       the Shezi, Shilin, Beitou light rail transit network planning.
   (6)Continue conducting the land acquisition for the Wanda line Phase I and Xinyi eastern
       extension, investor solicitation for the MRT land development projects including Taipei Main
       Station District Parcels C1/D1, city-owned land renewal projects (commissioned work), and
       property sales and rentals for municipal properties that are generated from MRT join
       development projects.
   (7)Continue conducting the building permit application reviews and patrol operations along
       Taipei MRT routes in compliance with the regulations of“Building Permit Bans and
       Restrictions alongside MRT Facilities” in order to ensure the safety of MRT facilities.
   (8)Continue conducting projects involving the civil works, tracks, utilities and HVAC systems,
       integrated structure of MRT land development, and the availability demonstration of E&M
       systems for the Taichung MRT Wuri-Wenxin-Beitun line.
   (9)Continue conducting the commissioned work for the construction management of the
       installations of exterior walls and theater professional equipment for the Taipei Performing
       Arts Center.
   (10)Refine the quality management system and strengthen inspections of the contractors'
       Quality Plan; promote management performance of material testing and verification as well
       as supplier quality assessments; implement the strategic map operation; continue
       establishing and inheriting MRT technical expertise, and expanding information services for
       MRT construction.
