2016 Major Administrative Plans of Taipei City Department of Rapid Transit Systems

    Construct a high-quality and efficient rapid transit system that facilitates easy travel in Taipei.

     

  3. Major Administrative Plans

    (1) Continue conducting civil works tendering and construction, and E&M systems tendering preparation for the Wanda-Zhonghe-Shulin line Phase I; conducting civil works tendering and construction, and carrying out E&M systems tendering for the Xinyi eastern extension.

    (2) Continue conducting civil works, trackwork, utilities and HVAC systems, E&M systems equipment manufacturing, deliveries, on-site installation and tests for the Circular line Phase I.

    (3) Commissioned projects for Bureau of High Speed Rail, MOTC include:
    Implementing underground construction of the Sanchong-Taipei section and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport MRT line, management of the hand-over issues for operation, and construction management of the underground passageway connection between Taipei(A1) station and Zhengzhou Road underground shopping mall.

    (4) Continue conducting civil works, track work, utilities and HVAC systems construction, and E&M systems tender invitations for Xinzhuang Depot on the Xinzhuang line; implementing additional MRT entrance construction and elevator installation for Jiantan Station on the Tamsui line, and design of additional elevators and installation management for Beitou, Zhongsiao Xinsheng stations.

    (5) Continue conducting basic design and preliminary survey works for the Circular line north section & south section.

    (6) Continue conducting comprehensive plans for the Minsheng-Xizhi line, Circular line North Section & South Section, and financial planing for the Wanda-Zhonghe-Shulin line Phase II as well as follow-ups of central government reviews; feasibility studies for the Shezi-Shilin-Beitou light rail transit network, North-South line, Sanying extension to Bade, and Taipei MRT extension to Chitu Bedford Community.

    (7) Continue implementing investor solicitation tendering for the MRT land development projects, city-owned land renewal projects (commissioned work); superficies registration or acquisition for the land used for stations, explanatory notes and compensation processes due to MRT under-passes, and land acquisition on the Joint Development areas through negotiation and purchase on the Wanda-Zhonghe-Shulin line Phase I and Xinyi eastern extension.

    (8) Taichung MRT Wuri-Wenxin-Beitun Line Construction:
    Continue conducting civil works and track work construction, E&M systems equipment/facilities detail design, procurement, and manufacturing and installation.

    (9) Commissioned Projects:
    Continue conducting construction management of Taipei Performing Arts Center, the 2017 Taipei Universiade Stadium (including the Heping Elementary School Basketball Stadium, and Taipei City Tennis Sports Center), the Taipei Astronomical Museum exhibition hall renovation and special exhibition area expansion; Daan Elderly Service & Day Care Center, Beitou Qiyang Elderly LOHAS Building; and MRT Joint Development Building integration with Taipei Mandarin Experimental Elementary School.
     

    (10)Enhance quality management (including internal control) and implementation of risk management. Strengthen inspections of construction quality and construction management efficiency. Promote management performance of material testing and verification as well as supplier quality assessment. Improve training and inspection of official documents. Expand the GIS application and the cloud service for mobile devices.
