Complete civil engineering and architectural work, facility manufacture, installation and testing of the systemwide electrical and mechanical (E&M) systems, system-integration tests, initial and final system inspections, and preparations for inauguration.
Continue construction of the section from Xinzhuang Depot to Taipei Bridge Station and the section from Dongmen Station to Guting Station on the Xinzhuang line:
Construct civil engineering work, trackwork, install heat, ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC) systems and oversee the manufacture and installation and tests of systemwide E&M facilities. - Expedite construction of the Xinyi and Songshan lines:
Continue implementing civil engineering and architectural work, trackwork, common utility duct construction and installation of heat, ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Oversee the manufacture, installation and testing of systemwide E&M facilities and assemblage of electric multiple units (EMUs). - Expedite construction of the Sanchong-Taipei section of the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Access MRT System:
Continue implementing civil engineering and architectural work. - Expedite construction of the Circular line Phase I and the Tucheng extension to Dingpu:
Conduct land acquisition, tendering for civil engineering and architectural work; and construction of the Circular line Phase I; implement civil engineering and architectural work of the Tucheng extension to Dingpu, the detailed design of the systemwide E&M system and EMUs of the Circular line Phase I, as well as the Tucheng extension to Dingpu. - Complete construction of the Yuanshan Exhibition Venue of the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo tendering and construction of the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park; conduct the construction contract management of the Taipei City Hakka Culture Theme Park & Cross-Embankment Platform Square.
- Expedite construction of the Taichung Metropolitan MRT Wuri-Wenxin-Beitun line:
Implement tendering and construction of civil engineering and architectural work; conduct tendering and detailed design of systemwide E&M work and EMUs. - Prepare a budget and have it approved for the Xinyi eastern extension and the Wanda line Phase I; conduct detailed design of the civil engineering and architectural work; implement urban rezoning and land acquisition.
Continue the drawing up of planning reports, financial plan reports, and environmental impact assessment reports for the North-South line, Minsheng-Xizhi line, Ankeng line, Sanying line, Shezi, Shilin, Beitou Light Rail lines, plus north and south sections of the Circular line in accordance with the central government’s reviews. - Continue implementing MRT land development projects, site selection, negotiating and contracting with landowners, architectural concept design, investor selection, rights and interests allocation, contract implementation, real estate management, fund management, and the drawing up of related regulations for city-owned land development, and urban renewal commissioned by Taipei City government’s related departments, land acquisition through negotiation and purchase for the Circular line, the drawing up of investor selection documents; conduct budget preparation for construction of the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Access MRT System and the Circular line Phase I; Provide technical consultation services to the “Taichung Metropolitan MRT Wuri-Wenxin-Beitun line Depot & Station Land Development Project,” and the “Taoyuan Metropolitan MRT Network Planning and Land Development Project.”
- Improve overall information technology system performance; test application systems for date-related bugs; establish a Web2.0 IT operation environment, conduct professional MRT technology training; continue promoting knowledge management to applying it in MRT consulting services and Technology Book Series.
- Enhance fulfillment of quality management (internal control systems) and improve inspection of contractors’ major construction items and fulfillment levels of construction quality plans; increase management effectiveness of material tests and material verification; strengthen training, checking and approval of official documentation; improve official documentation quality and maintain zero-delay performance in dealing with official documentation; reflect current construction status and increase management effectiveness of each project under the supervision of the Taipei City Council and Taipei City government, so as to strengthen the harmonious relationship between DORTS and city councilors.
